Villadia battesi is a genus of plants in the Crassulaceae family and can be divided into two distinct groups: Evergreen plants and deciduous plants. These magnificent plants bear simple leaves arranged in rosettes and up to 10 inches (25 cm) long stems.
It includes over 25 to 30 species scattered from Texas to Peru. Also known by the name ‘Cotyledon batesii’, the leaves are pale green and are covered with tiny tubercles up to 0.12 inch (3mm) wide and 0.4 inches (1 cm) long.
It blooms five-stellate flowers and is a rewarding plant for indoor gardens. These plants grow to a maximum height of 12 inches and can thrive under full to partial sunlight. It is a low maintenance plant and is an ideal choice for forgetful gardeners.
