Description

Add a tropical flair to your garden by growing this beautiful, long-live tamarind tree. These trees feature short, stout trunks topped by bushy wide-spread crowns with arching branches.  Imli Plant blooms fragrant flowers with feathery foliage varying from red-veined cream to pale yellow colors, hanging in small clusters.

The fruits of the plant are quite famous and are ‘kind of’ fattish, beanlike, bulged pods and irregularly curved. The fruits have a sweet and sour taste and are used in food, beverages, and traditional medicines.

Imli Plant is not only known for its fruits and flowers, but it also has many medicinal virtues too.   It grows ferny, even-pinnate, compounded leaves with light green leaflets that are about 2cm long. These plants reach a maximum height of 18 inches and don’t require much care and maintenance to thrive.
